Offline Advertising
With the worlwide reach of the internet we sometimes lose focus on our local area. I am going to give you a few tips for just that. Remember advertising is the heart of your business, without it there is no business. Unless you have an extremely large list of team members it is very difficult almost impossible to make sales without advertising. First things first, who is your audience for your product or service? You may think that there are tons of people out there that want your product or service, however I know when I first started out that I didn't have a lot of money to just through away so I had to sit back and think, who do I think is going to want this? Lets look at an example of a tagert audience being college students. Aside from campus, where do they hang out? What radio station do they listen too? Where else do they go that you could advertise? These are some of things you need to ask yourself and if at all possible ask a subject matter expert, namely a college student. Before jumping in and placing your flyers all over the place where you know they will see it, make sure you check the local regulations for promoting a business, wouldn't want you to get in trouble. Be sure that you can get your name out there in as many places as possible and to as many different situations as you can. This is going to be the best way that you have of doing your own advertising. Name branding is very important. |
